PSNC has jointly published, with NHS Employers and the General Practitioner Committee of the BMA, a briefing document for GPs on MURs - Achieving best value from the community pharmacy Medicines Use Review service. The document has been prepared as part of the work of the Professional Relations working group that was formed as a result of an action point in the pharmacy White Paper.

“Get a Free Medicines Check from your Local Pharmacist” Campaign
The PSNC, 'Get a Free Medicines Check from your Local Pharmacist' campaign materials allow contractors and LPCs to promote the availability of Medicines Use Reviews to patients.
The materials include an advertisement for LPCs to place in local newspapers and for contractors to use as an in-store poster.
A media guide giving advice and a draft press release to use locally to raise the profile of MURs as part of the advertisement and poster campaign is availalbe for LPCs.
