Home LPC Conference and PSNC Dinner 2010
The LPC Conference and 28th Annual PSNC Dinner were held on the 17th November at the Lancaster London hotel in central London.
The Conference opened with speeches from PSNC Chairman Chris Hodges and CEO Sue Sharpe setting out the current issues and work of PSNC and plans for the future. An audience of over 300 then discussed a range of conference resolutions on topics such as funding and reimbursement, the contractual framework, MDS, MURs, PNAs and workload.
Presentations on public health and local authorities completed the day.
Over 400 guests attended the PSNC Dinner in the evening including many MPs, LPCs, local authority personnel, PCT and SHA managers, DH, pharmacy press, other pharmacy bodies and patient organisations. There was a rousing speech from PSNC Chairman Chris Hodges with the response from Pharmacy Minister Earl Howe.
