NB: There are set criteria for the entry of products to the list. Following a decision by AstraZeneca to adjust the basis of calculation of their pharmacy rebates, seven AZ products (Arimidex 1mg tablets, Casodex 150mg & 50mg tablets, Seroquel 100mg, 150mg, 200mg and 300mg tablets) met the criterion for 'high cost, low volume items where no discount is available' from March 2008. Although not listed in the March Tariff, prescriptions for Anastrozole Tablets 1mg, Bicalutamide Tablets 150mg and 50mg and Quetiapine Tablets 100mg, 150mg, 200mg and 300mg (i.e. the generic descriptions for the 7 Astra Zeneca products entering the list by brand name) were considered exempt from discount deduction from March 2008.
