Status of Pharmacy Systems
Pharmacy system suppliers are making good progress in developing EPS Release 2 functionality.
Cegedim Pharmacy Manager is the first pharmacy system to receive authority to deploy beyond Initial Implementer sites. A limit of 200 pharmacy sites has been set. AAH (Proscript Link), RxSystems (Proscript) and the Lloyds Pharmacy System are currently in Initial Implementation. Cegedim’s Nexphase, Helix Health’s QicScript and Positive Solutions Ltd’s Analyst system are expected to begin Initial Implementation before the end of the 2010. Confirmation is still awaited on the expected date for the Pharmasys system to enter Initial Implementation.
The latest information on the status of each supplier can be found on the Connecting for Health website.
