Errors with printing of Schedule of Payments for June 2010
Due to a printing error at NHS Prescription Services extra text is showing incorrectly on the final page of some contractors’ schedule of payments for June 2010 indicating that NHS Prescription Services (NHSRxS) has made an adjustment to their payment.
Contractors are advised to check the line on the schedule entitled ‘Details of other amounts authorised’ as this will indicate if NHSRxS have made an adjustment and how much it is for. If the figure is zero, the message on the final page of the statement has been printed by mistake as it should only have appeared for accounts with an actual adjustment.
For the time being NHS Prescription Services will continue to send a separate letter to contractors for whom adjustments are being made that to tell them about any adjustments to their monthly payment.
NHS Prescription Services have apologised for any inconvenience this may cause and they hope that the problem will be rectified next month.
