CPPE launches new Patient-centred care open learning programme
The Centre for Pharmacy Postgraduate Education (CPPE) is pleased to announce the launch of Patient-centred care – a new open learning programme designed for pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and other healthcare professionals. The programme is especially useful for prescribers and can be studied in your own time at your own pace.
Patient-centred care aims to enable learners to acquire the skills and techniques that need to be developed to provide effective patient-centred care. On completion of the programme, learners will be able to understand the concept of patient-centred care and the skills needed to provide it, as well as incorporate patient-centred care into their everyday practice, help patients get the best from their medicines, and implement NICE guidance on medicines adherence.
This open learning programme can be ordered from CPPE in booklet form or downloaded as PDFs from the CPPE website at www.cppe.ac.uk.
