Pfizer Launches Generic Medicines Portfolio in the UK
Pfizer Limited has launched six generic medicines today for its pharmacy and dispensing customers in the UK.
The generic medicines are metformin, finasteride, ondansetron, paroxetine, mirtazapine and mirtazapine OD for disorders including, type 2 diabetes, benign prostatic hyperplasia, post-operative nausea and vomiting and depression.
The products will be available through Pfizer’s current DTP arrangements (i.e. Alliance Healthcare). The discount structure is the same as applies to Pfizer’s branded medicines.
