Deadline approaching - vote on changes to Royal Charter

In 2010 The Royal Pharmaceutical  Society will separate into two new bodies - the General Pharmaceutial Council and a new separate professional body for pharmacy. However to clear the way for these changes to occur there must first be an amendment to the Society's Royal Charter.

As such there will be a ballot running from 22 June to 20 July in which all members of the Society will be entitled to vote. The proposed changes to the charter must be agreed by at least two-thirds of the members who vote before progress can be made towards the creation of the new bodies.
